Mayor Ed Lee promotes Little Saigon’s businesses

SEACC’s business team (Tony, Victor and Philip) joined a handful of successful restaurant owners in Little Saigon who include the Turtle Tower Noodle Soup, Lee’s Sandwiches and the Burmese Kitchen to welcome SF Mayor Ed Lee who came to Little Saigon on May 29, 2012 to promote investing in the Neighborhoods. The Little Saigon Commercial Corridor is one of the 25 Commercial Corridors that the SF City Hall is targeting. The Mayor’s budget will allocate $1.5 million over two years for small business assistance in addition to the two new "Job Squad" staff to help small businesses to quickly get through complicated business rules and regulations. Supervisors Jane Kim and Carmen Chu were also present. In the picture, the owner of Turtle Tower restaurant (with Philip and Victor next to her) expresses her deep appreciation to the Mayor and Supervisor Jane Kim whose jurisdiction includes Little Saigon.
